I am a graduate of LUMS and INSEAD. I have worked for over 25 years with Shell Group across a number of businesses and a number of geographies. My last assignment with Shell was Chairman for Shell businesses in Pakistan and CEO of Shell Pakistan Limited. I am currently working as the CEO of Dupak Energy which is a lubricants and car care startup. I like to work on charity projects. These days I give a significant amount of my time to SundarSTEM school, a charity project that focuses on providing an outstanding training in mathematics and CS to some of the best and brightest children in the country. I am happily married with three children.
Talk Description:
I will talk a little bit about my educational pursuits and career, how I started from nothing and reached to where I had hoped to be and am now making a new start again. I will also talk a little bit about my experiences with philanthropy. The purpose of my talk would be to engage the audience, perhaps leave them with a sense that Allah helps us achieve what we would like to achieve as long as we are sincere towards out goals and have a reasonable plan to get to them. I would also like to leave the students with a sense that sometimes it is ok to chew a bit more than you can swallow as long as it for a worthy cause.
