Activity Description:

The aim of this exercise is to achieve a physical and mental state, which is defined in Sufism as “one pointedness” or “oneness”. Through this process, individuals will be able to journey within, to find a state of unwavering stability or stillness, which can also be called a non-impulsive and non-reactive state. Fahad describes “zero” as the stillness or calm that is present at the beginning of something new; he observes this state as an infinite possibility. The session will begin with knowledge points from sufi philosophy followed by a physical yogic practice. Techniques from The Yoga Institute will be a part of this practice to calm the body and mind.
